Dirtwheels shootout

I like many of you read the DW shootout to see what they had to say about the Predator. I think now I have more questions that answers.
Did anyone else notice what seems to be a contradiction in their own review of the Predator?
Page 55 - paragraph 9 (Rock& Rolling) "Even with the shifting problem, the Predator was always in the hunt --- mostly thanks to its extremely good hook-up and acceleration factors."
Page 57 - paragraph 3 (Steering & Suspension) "One area that was a bit awkward on our Predator was that the rear wheels seemed to break traction more than we would have liked. ----- We still feel there is a bit too much rear tire spin for our tastes"
What the?? I know it's just a tire issue, but I'd like to see a shootout without wondering which of their views is closest to being accurate.
BTW, this is in no way a put down to the Predator. I love it that all of these new sport quads are coming out. It's good for the industry. I think Polaris had a great idea, and seems to have made a helluva sport quad.

when they do a shootout i read there input and get to the end and check there score, and go oh that is nice then about a year ago the raptor beat the ds, i think the ds came in third, and i was going man for a machine that didn't get more than one first place vote, that seems odd. so having made it thru second grade math and redoing it again thru my children i felt quailified to add up all the numbers and see where every thing landed, well it wasn't where they had them placed. so since then they don't interest me as much. i don't feel they really have the time on each machine to make a fair judgement. but sometimes they come thru with a little something worth reading, oh and the rider pictures are pretty cool

They really do have some helpful articles and tips though. Like the "How to jump" feature in the same issue. I found that article quite enlightening. OHHHHH you mean you need to standup when jumping? Jeez I was wondering why I kept landing like a rubber ball, getting tossed over the bars and ran over by my own quad! It's all starting to make sense to me know!!!
