Default Raptor Question

I am running an Alba Exhaust system and ProFlow kit on my Raptor and have the Jetting at the prescribed 145/150 with a closed air box. My question is will I notice any significant difference if I take the air box lid off and rejet with larger jets? If so, what jetting is recommended?

Default Raptor Question

I have the same exact setup. I took the air box lid off and jsut put an outerwear on. My jetting jumped up to 170/175. It makes a big difference. I say go for it. I think im now going to just cut the whole box apart and have it really open to the air. Those airboxes suffocate the raptor.

Default Raptor Question

Did you have the air box lid on in the beginning and then changed it? Or did you start out without the air box lid?

Default Raptor Question

I experimented with the airbox lid on and off and I liked it more off, got alot more power. I say take it off if your not riding in dusty or muddy conditions.

Default Raptor Question

I do ride in dusty and muddy conditions at times but I do have an outerwear for the filter that "should" protect it. However, I am wanting to change the jetting for a trip out to Glamis this Spring Break!
