I bet his side is the same. Like I said(good for you polaris guys) in equally modified forms, the predator would probably have the edge....and our racing was good side by side racing..........just what it is supposed to be......

Yeah Predator vs. Raptor that is my problem still don't know what one I want. I know the raptor has proven dependability but the predator is built with better suspension is a good width has stainless steel brake lines and isn't as tippy but also doesn't wheely like the raptor and the predator lacks reverse all I know is I really want a great quad that will be good and reliable. Hey I tend to bend or break any part on a quad that may even be the least bit weak I will find a quads weak point and bend or break it. So my question is which quad do you think will take a beating better. later

ryenol could easily holeshot me almost everytime. he has the raptor geared ideal for his setup with the 10 paddle haulers. 15-40 the raptor has so much more torque is loves the big gear and added paddles. my setup was paddla brats compcut and wore down from years of hard use. i'm sure i was loosing traction on the launches, but even if i had identicle tires as ryenol i'm not so sure the predator would pull them in 2nd gear. after we got off the line the bikes pulled evenly. sometimes it seemed like i could reel close to a bike in on him but this was around 150 yards out, i'm sure it was his bike in the top of a gear not pulling anymore were i may have been revving out still. we then started tuning and tinkering with things to see what it would do. i am running a k&n clampon filter with a modded stock muffler. i was useing a 200 main jet and it was on 13-39 gearing. like he said i was wound full out at 200 yards while he was in 3rd. but his gearing is so tall i dont think shifting into 4th it would have gone any faster. i changed the front sprocket to the 14 to see if it would pull 2nd and it just bogged it down. the best combination so far is the 13-39 possibly 38.
i plan on putting the air box back on and trying to fine tune it with it in place rather than the clamp on k&n. i am sure that the slide is not functioning as it should with the clamp on filter. JMO
ryan and i will keep the raptor predator issue fresh.
BTW the best races were won on the line. predator needs more bottomend to get it going.
we passed wins back and forth for a while at first, then he tuned on his and i did so on mine. its all fun take this information and have fun.
