i don't know what happened.i was riding and changing the jets after a period of riding,done this 2 times and the third time i was on my way out the shop and you could press the gas and it seemed like it wanted to shut the engine down(flooding).then it went dead the starter turns over fine but no air out the tailpipe.took my nalve covers off and turned the motor with a socket the valves didn't move.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]
did i break my timing chain??????????????????if so when i replace it what else would you replace if you had it tore down this far.and is there a company that makes a whole gasket and o-ring kit for my baby[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]

 

ouch...damn i hate to hear it im sure 14 can get you set up with a gasket kit,
all that you need to put it back together...he had really good prices on his parts

ran real stout for 10 minutes,didnt have my seat on and could barely hold on stangdng up only in 2nd and 3rd gears.never got out of 3rd

 

is your bike an 01 or 02?

It sounds like it could be the chain. Sorry about that whitebread, what jets were you running when it went south on you.
