I just saw the new 2004 Sportsmans. I am just wondering if I am the only one who likes the old design way better. I mean, they try to make it look sportier, but keep them rectangular headlights. What's with that? I don't want to sound like I hate Polaris now, it's just going to take me a long time to get use to these things. Did they give Arctic Cat a call for help on the new styling of what?

What do you guys think?

 

I think it looks nice. I'd be there to buy one if more people in my area knew how to ride a quad. It just takes time for some people to get used to a new look after seeing the same one for so long. When the new Dodge came out, most said they didn't like it. Then came the new Chevy which redefined ugly, and there aren't so many bad things said about the Dodge. I want to see a brand new Scrambler more than anything, even if it is ugly! I realize not everything can match my own beauty. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

I have a 03 700 and a 02 Chevy Z71 and I like the styling on each of them better than the new models. If I was buying a new truck this year it would not be a Chevy, I guess I still might buy a Polaris even though last years styling looks better to me.

 

Does anyone know when the new 2004's will be available for purchase??? Thanks

Why didn't they use this front end on the new ATPs though?

 

Who gives a darn how it looks? I thought they were coming out with a whole new line up. Not just plastic changes. Hey Polaris are you listening out there? How about saving the money on a redesign and giving us LIGHTER quads. You know something that weighs less than the usual 700+ pounds in a utility machines with fancy plastic. HELLO?

 

polaris is starting to get really cheap looking on the front, sort of like the rincon.
not that polaris has been cheap looking before

i have to admit though, the sportsman is the best looking atv out there, its just the plastic i hate
the rincon looks ugly, my 650 looks like..........a pot head .

 

Did they also take away the "used to be free" front & back racks on the 600/700???

 

I guess you guys are right. The more I look at them, the more I get used to them.
