Hey folks ,
I have to tell you , I have been riding Honda's for the last few years (350 Rancher /450 Foreman) and they are great , I've had a lot of fun ....BUT...... This new Grizzley is absolutely "WILD" .. I've had it 3 weeks now , been out every weekend and yes , I already broke a front axle but they put in the updated ones and no problems since . Let me tell you , water wheelies , beaver ponds , Deep mud , huge logs , big hills ...It does it all !!!!!! Heading back out this weekend , Gonna find the snow this time.....As I said this Grizzley friggin "ROCKS" .....Too much fun ..
By the way , the 27 " 589's w/ C-series wheels work great ..

P.S. I gave the Honda's to my wife and son , No going back for me ....Later , Kevin

Thanks , I am having so much fun with it I can hardly wait for Saturday to come around ...I'm loaded and ready to go !!! My 2 brothers , 2 cousins , and nephew all have new ones too . We are all heading up into the Cascades off of highway US 2 to find snow ,S/B kick in the A** .....

Ya, it's a great quad. My dad has one of the earlier models without the 660 or IRS but it's still awesome. Very well built nothing stands in its way! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

I went on a winter atv camping trip a couple of weeks ago with my brother in law who just bought an '03 Grizzly. All I can say is after riding it on some rough trails I want one myself. It definitely rocked.

No , I am on the west side of the mountains, Camano Island area ... I see you are in Idaho.. Must be lots of great places to ride over there !!
Ten of us with about 18 quads are planning a trip over to Idaho in late April/early May ... My brother is taking us , he knows of a few places , I've never been myself but I am very excited for the trip ....3-4 days worth ....
One thing I really like about the grizz is , You don't need water to do WHEELIES!!!! ...I should mention , along with the 589's and C-series , I got the 2500# Warn Winch, ALL the bash plates front and rear , brush guard and ....the EXTENDED WARRANTY !!!!

Although I have the urge to make it faster than the rest of my Family's Grizz's ..I am going to wait a while, leave it stock ....Well....Maybe !!

 

Hey 4x4 Crazy....... If anyone hasnt told ya, there is a few special things that ya might want to keep in mind.


1. Feed it at least 2 Honda's per week.
2. Top it with a minmum of 25lbs of mud per ride.
3. Wash down with at least 3 feet of water.
4. Do not park the Grizz on top of your house...makes neighbors jealous.
5. NO BURNOUTS in neighbor's driveways to demonstrate torque.
6. Do not poke your finger in the exhaust...it gets it off.
