june is when they unvail there new quads and according to my dealer they will be having some new quads
my wish list...
new updated 400cc shee duner with better suspension handling brakes
a new smaller shee 300cc or a 250cc liquid cooled to race with
a 400-450cc raptor to compete with the z400
and a all new 700 cc raptor thats not so detuned as the 660 also with a wider axle and a-arms
and for the heck of it ditch the balloon tires on the blaster there whole sport line should start with those radials jmo
also lighten everything as much as possible so that the power to weigh ratio would be awesome
(they are trying to lighten the ds650 60lb for 2004 alhthough it will still be 30 or so pounds heavier then the rap but i'm sure it will help out the ds a lot)
if they did that no company could touch them

realistically tho i could see a smaller raptor and maby a new 660 raptor with some new goodies

I would love to see the banshee get a makeover, but I doubt it will happen. I would like to see a 420 stroker with improved suspension. Again, I doubt it.

I have heard the rumor of the 450 sport quad, I guess taking the engine from the yzf450.

That would be cool, otherwise probably just new colors and graphics.

Bold new graphics! And a Warrior with raptor like plastic but the same old Warrior underneath or maybe a Raptor with a blaster motor. C'mon I think Yammy wont come out with a "real" new sport quad for at least another 3 or 4 years.

 

i think they will come out with something new jmo they need to stay on top of the compitition hopefully they don't pull and polaris and make a new dump truck or even worse a honda and not come out with anything well see

 

I had an interesting call from Yamaha about the Raptor 80. The survey had many questions about the suspension and motor with a couple of questions on lights and eletric starter. Of course I don't thick the person on the other end of the phone has ever ridden a quad!!!

well my guess a new warrior.. keep the old one and come out with like a 400 warrior... also heard oft he 450 rappy comeing out... and mayb possible a mule type quad. or the new polaris atp type quad... a pimped rappy 80.. race ready shee? 450 shee? idk i cant wait

 

i think yamaha is one of the best companies. for a few reasons, look at all the quads they have out: raptor, banshee, warrior, blaster, raptor 80, and all the utilities. then there dirtbike line: YZ, YZF, TT-R, WR-F, PW, XT, and TW. and that is just dirtbikes. you also have snow-mobiles, super bikes, road bikes, boat motors, jet-skis, and then all the musical instruments. I think yamaha is already in front of the competition, but if they added more and better quads? whew, couldnt believe it.

 

no don't get me wrong i think they make the best quads and bikes out there...as for snowmobiles i wish they made a new 800 or even a lighter 700 instead of the 4stroke thing oh well i guess they can't be perfect they make a lot of good stuff tho lata
