I'd be interested in hearing how the Ron Wood Stage One kit holds up against various modified banshees in a drag race. From what I've seen so far, it doesn't take very many banshee mods for it to be right with the ron wood DS in a drag. 45-50 HP is not enough to consistently, without question, beat very many modified banshees. I would say around 65-70 HP would be needed to beat most of what you'd typically find out there.

Scooby-Did you get your carb all figured out yet? I got the sudco/mikuni carb tuning manual and all the jets I need. I will do my tuning when it gets about 70 degrees and when they send my K&N filter. Sunday I crashed hard and bent a front rim. I will be switching back to the thumb throttle ASAP. I crashed because of the twist throttle-just not use to riding with it. The DS is really scary with the mods and the twist in the tight trails. According to the article in 4 wheel action wood ds can take the modified banshees. Only one beat it and not by much. that banshee also had straight paddles and the ds had V-paddles. Later.
