I am looking for the specs on a TDC bolt? Should I get this from my dealer??
Any on have any extras??

 

what bolt are you looking for? the one that locks the crank at TDC?

 

Just get a long bolt from the hardware store and grind or file it to a dull point. It's not worth ordering from a dealer.

It's a metric machine bolt. I believe it's 5MM, but I'll have to check on that. I can't remember off the top of my head what the exact specs are, but I'll find out. I know you can pick them up at Lowes or Home Depot for pennies, and not have to waist time ordering.

if i remember right one of the bolts that hold the skid plate on will work. you have to grind it to a point.

 

The wait is over, 8MM!

Get one about 40MM long or so. That will be more than long enough. It has to be about 25MM at the shortest, but too long is no problem at all.
