Just wanted to say hi. I have been hanging around for a few days checking out all the threads about the KFX400. So I won't be asking the same questions that someone else has. Well time to go get it off the truck.

Your gonna love it man. Get a pipe, K&N filter, pull the air box lid off, and rejet. You won't believe the difference this makes. Here's to great riding!

 

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I have only rode it for like 5 min. or so but will get more seat time tomorrow. So far with less the 1/2 throttle I can tell it's going to be a great ride. Lots and lots of power. Not sure when the mods will start. I have got to get the mods I want for my Lightning first. Once again thans for the welcome.

Thanks for the invite dirthead I'll do that if I ever come that way. I'm going to be riding over in Opp most of the time if you know where that is.

I put about an hour on it today (so far) I love being back on a quad. Took a few little jumps, I can't wait to get it broke in so I can open it up. In first rolling if you quickly go to about 1/2 throttle it brings the tires up about 6 to 9 inches. Well off to the dirt again.

 

Ok...I have to make a choice between a Banshee and the KFX400..I sure love the looks of the KFX! I was concerned that the Kawi didn't have enough power to pull the front wheels up and to be able to throw it around like my blaster. I'm use to my 92 Blaster and a YZ250 and would hate to make the wrong choice between these two machines.......keep talking!!!! <s> I do field and fairly quick paced trail riding..looking for the right machine.
