after market wheels
#1
I have a question for the cat lovers.
#1 I think we all know by know that the genusis at AC have designed a stock wheel for 03 that does not have a center cap. So getting a wheel that has the covered center is impossible unless of course you spend 400.00 and order them through AC.
My question
I need a wheel size to go by when i order my wheels. I need some that will allow enough clearance so my tires will not rub my shocks.
What do you have on your bike? I need the specs on them. I would like for them to be a chrome or alluminum wheel.
Any suggestions
Thanks

i too am trying to decide which to go with. i want alliminum to keep the unsprung tire weight down. i think highlifters new mud light rim has centercaps. i was thinking about either c-series or douglaus red label. does anybody know what the weight of the stock rims is

Stock wheels are 12X7 front and rear. 4/115 is the correct bolt pattern. The backspacing will make a difference on how wide they sit. Don't know what the stock bspacing is. Saw a 500i at the dealer last weekend with Magnum aluminum wheels and some 26" Mudbugs. The wheels looked really sweet, but there expensive. Like $100 each. Don't know what to do with the centercap.

WHAT YOU NEED IS 12X7 C-SERIES CAST ALUMIN. WHEELS I PAID 60 EA BUT THATS DEALER COST WHEN YOU ORDER THEM SAY YOU NEED 4 FRONT 12X7 C SERIES CAST ALUM. WHEELS
HAVE YOU EVER NOTICED THAT THE FRONT STICK OUT MORE HAVE FOUR FRONTS WILL GIVE YOU A 1" OFFSET MORE THAN FACTORY THEN YOU CAN PUT ANY SIZE TIRES ON YOUR CAT AND NEVER HAVE A CLEARENCE PROMBLEM.

Are you saying that the offset of the front wheels is wider than that of the rear wheels. I thought the front suspension was actually a little wider. I've never had all 4 wheels off at the same time to compare them. What do you do about centercaps?
