I'm trying to install an older plunger type of kill switch on my 400ex. It is labeled "universal" but im having problems. There are two leads from the kill switch. When i test continuity it shows that with the plunger connected the circuit is open, and with the plunger pulled, it shows closed (beeps). Easy enough. But the thumb kill switch is the opposite, (run is closed (beeps) and stop is open). Am i wiring this in on the wrong place?
