Eiger 4x4 or Big Bear 4x4???

Even though I am a happy Eiger owner, I am also curious as to why the Outlander (either 330 or 400) wasn't included in the latest "Budget 400 and under" test in dirtwheels. They had a test on the O 330 in the same issue and even though the Eiger won against the P360 , Yamaha and others, from reading the specs and reports on the Outlander it looks like even the 330 could give the Eiger a serious run for the money.
That said, I also have to add that I just can't get over the looks of the Outlanders (as well as the Rally).. The 'Lego block' look is one big negative for me, also IMHO - give 'em a few years out in the elements and those plastic footpegs are going to crack and break.
The Mags seem to like them though - I'd predict a future shootout between the Eiger and Outlander will make for a Bomb winner if it's the 400 and a possible Bomb win with the 330.

i rode a new eiger 400 manual shift and it was realy peppy, i dint thike the front diff on it, the headlight left room to be desired. and even with the new and improved shifter it didnt want to leave reverse. im 6-3 300lbs and it wasnt realy comfortable to be, the next day i had a hard day walking because my back was so sore, but on the plus side( besides the power- was awsome) it was nice to have it in nuetral and put it in reverse and hit the gas. no moving your foot . trail riding there wasnt much shifting involved because it had the power to come away decent in to high a gear.

Both are solid quads but I went w/ the Eiger when I wanted a 5 sp. The BB is a great bike but no low range and always lookin for a 6th gear cause it's geared so low. I think the Eiger is equally as reliable.
