i found a 34 mm carb off of a scrambler and put it on the trailblazer i think the jetting is close but it has avery bad bog off idle. the motor is trail ported ,head milled,hpd pipe and clutch kit, any ideas would be a great help.

 

Sounds like your needle clip is to low, I had the same problem. Whan jets are you running? should be about a 210-230 main and a 45 pilot.

 

i am running a 210main a 35 pilot and the needle is in the middle. i have tried to move the needle up and down and it still bogs.

 

Sounds like your a little lean off idle...i would go up a size on the pilot and see how that helps...may actually have to go up to sizes. Goodluck[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

I had to use the pilot jet and needle from the 30mm carb and running a 210 main.It bogs a little but the gains in the mid and top range were huge. Elroy is using the same setup and he told me what exactly to use from the 30mm and 34mm carbs to make it work.
