Ever ride with dirtbikes?

Hey,
i was just curious if any of you guys ever go riding with friends on dirtbikes? not looking for any particular answer, just thought it would be interesting to hear your opinions on the pros/cons of mixed riding groups? do you find it hard to stay together? do you seek different riding terrain? do you like the variety? stuff like that.

How is this for a group?
4 misc. 4x4 ATV's with lift kits and big tires.
1 yamaha raptor
1 yamaha blaster
1 two-stroke dirt bike
Terrain was deep water and mud
It was very funny and very sad at the same time. My clothes are still hanging up outside.

I ride mainly with bikes, most of the time. Top notch machines (a couple CR500s, a YZ250, and two XR650s) along with some others mixed in occasionally. I like riding with bikes becuase it's a nice variety - their lines are different than mine, they make less dust, they pull me in the straight stuff but I pull them through the twisty stuff, and watching a talented bike rider stay on two wheels in the rough stuff at 50 mph is impressive and downright scary!
One drawback - stay in front of the CR500s (if ya can) - the pilots usually have heavy elbows and the roost is horrible if they know you're on their heels

I like riding with bikes more. When I ride with all my quad buddies I find we sit around a lot more. And having somebody on a bike to guage a new jump is always the best way to go about it.

its great riding with dirt bikes. I ride with them every day during the summer. It is fun to race them because they are a little faster and it is fun to try to keep up. We take the same jumps and everything. It is a great time.

I used to ride my DRZ400E dirt bike with all my friends who all had quads, It kinda sucked for me in alot of our trails becuase they have deep ruts and it was very hard to go fast through them on my bike, they could go way faster and I would do the dfall in the ruts thing. But in the open areas none of them could touch me. So I ended up trading in the DRZ on my Raptor. I love the Raptor, but deep down inside, I think I still like bikes better. ONE of the cons of riding bikes with quads can be seen on my pics page!! I was on my DRZ and a kid on a quad hit me and you can see the damage it can do to a leg. I have to have skin grafts done and spent about 15,000 on hospital bills and missed a month and a half of work. How I only wished they made nerf bars for bikes

Hey,
for you guys who ride with dirtbikes, what type of terrain did you ride on? i can see where open areas (dunes, fireroads, etc) would be ok, but what about riding in tight woods? any difficulties there?

side question: what size dirtbike is generally comparable to your average sport quad?

It is fun to ride with bikes but it sucks when you get behind one shooting rocks or a big sand roost with their rear tire!!! They have a hard time changing directions when following quads. Stopping and turning on the next trail at the last minute is hard for bikes if they are right behind you. Also it sucks to watch them blow past you in the woops!!!
