Default 700SP stuck needle valve?

Does anyone have ideas why my 2003 700sp seems to blow back fuel through the air filter? The outside sac over the filter is wet with gas, still into the break in period 190miles on it. to rich carb setting? needle valve stuck? choke stuck?

How is it running otherwise? Does it run well? If not, I would guess that maybe you are running rich. Have you looked at the plugs to see how they look?

It has been running well... really hard to tell when most of my riding has been in 12 inches of snow. I have not checked the plugs yet.
