What do you like best about your Trail Boss? Just curious about other folk's opinions.

HI. What do I like most:?
1. The Price
2. the way people under estimate it
3. Mine (2003, 330) has front and rear racks
4. it is big enough for me and costs less then many 250-300 quads which are smaller
5. I can plow my drive instead of shoveling
6. trail riding/camping
I can not understand why all the magazines review the same quads each month. I am dying to see a review of the 2003 trail boss. Polaris seems to receive less coverage in the mags then the other big manufactures. They would rather do reviews on trucks, and stupid april fool nonexistent bikes then a write up on my boss.
Right now mine is getting the engine rebuilt under warranty because the rad hose let go and it was run dry of oil.The dealer gave me no hassle at all. It is getting all new parts and should be back to me this week. This incident was a simple hose clamp which was not assembled correctly it has NOT changed my love of my boss.It has strengthened the way I feel about my dealer and the way polaris deals with their warranty issues.

GF - They're so easy to ride and simple to maintain - they require very little from owners. My whole family likes to just jump on the bossy and go slide around or just plonk along trails. My wife does usually prefer the 500 for longer rides because the IRS is soooo smooth and plush compared to the solid axles on the bossy and the 400L. My daughter (10 yrs.) usually has full command of the TB and you have to do some sweet-talking to get her to let you ride it. My other two ATVs are 4x4 and have much heavier steering than the TB; light steering is mainly what allows my daughter to enjoy riding it. My son likes the power and slide-ability of the 400 two-stroke but he still prefers the TB to the Sportsman.

'93 250. No 4-stroke maintenance, easy to ride, sips gas and oil, great basic 2X4 quad!

What's not to like. They are extremely dependable, low maintainence and fun to drive. I just purchased a 2003 330 and am having a blast. Is it the quickest or fastest no but it never claimed to be either it's just a lot of fun without the hassle of repairs and it can handle it's own when it needs to. My neighbor has 2 trailboss's ( 1998, 2001 ) and he was the one who convinced me to get one also. I just ordered an aftermarket pipe and clutch kit and can't wait to see what that will do. In my opinion the trailboss is way underrated for what you get from this machine.

It is running too lean. You need to fix it asap or you will be re-building soon

I like that mine is yellow, the seat is very comfortable, and the racks. The thing that I don't like is the steering. My arms get worn out on my Trail Boss more than they did when I rode my Trail Blazer.

gonefishin: Yes I bought my rack from Action Cycle in Litchfield,IL I believe it was around $80. It was well worth the money. the boss looks better and a small cooler fits perfect.
