Default 2000 trailblazer tranny removal

Hey guys and gals me again,

another question, this time about the tranny in my 2000 trailblazer. How do I remove it from the frame? I have the motor out, all the bolts out of the trans holding it in and it seems to be stuck on what seems a bolt or something on the left side swingarm. I have not removed the bolt on the lower left side of the trans case about three inches long I think is a torque arm or something. what's that for and can I remove without any damage or misadjustment when I re-install. This is the other and last problem with this used machine I purchased (I hope). The right hand side of the tranny case has a hole in it from a broken chain and I think I am going to just split the case clean any crud out and JB weld the hole closed. does the case have a paper gasket or is it an o-ring? any help or ideas appreciated thanks
