Raptor Long Travel Suspension - Awesome!!!
#1
I installed Houser +3 Long Travel a-arms with Elka quad rate 19" w/res and a Mac Daddy rear Elka conversion. I can say, without question, that this new suspension makes me a MUCH better rider. This quad is now like a kid's electric Tyco slot car - flat, stable, and whipping the azz through the turns:-) With a +4 Axcaliber axle and offset 10" rear rims, I am just under 50" in the rear. The front is much wider but I'm not worried, you can lift the front end up 8" or so and temporarily narrow it to pass MX inspection. In limited woods riding when I needed to narrow the front, I hit the throttle a bit and the front end lifted and narrowed. Now I have to cut my front fenders so I can watch the front suspension doing it's thing. There are updated pics on my page as soon as a mod approves them.

Man, that is one nice setup you have! I am now suffering from a-arm envy! If you don't mind me asking, what did you give for the a-arms and shocks and the rear shock rebuild?
