Well the best way to put it is he's going to cost me a few dollars to stay ahead of him!! he went from 7-8 bikes behind my #2 ds to 1 11/2 @ the most most the time he was breathing down my back [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] his stage III is good and im sure he will post some of our air picks from this weekend[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] as he said we had a blast and it was fun seeing you again bill and Glamis two great guy's to hang with. all in all it was a good week end @ gordon wells the only way it could have been any better if there were a few more rappy's to take apart [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img] the ds population was thick!!!

 

AZSAND- didn't your # 2 bike dyno only like 48HP? if your beating a stage 3 i think your dyno numbers are alittle low. strape the rear down tight next trip to the dyno!

you would be around 60HP, a stage 3 dynos right around 58-60 on a single carb and gas.

 

To be honest #2 did not feel right too me so i took it home tore it apart and found totaly inadequite porting so i broke out the vertical mill and went to work what i couldn't get with the mill i took out with a drillmill and installed a 48mm carb match ported the intake and she seems to have come alive.im getting new chains in this week and tianium sprockets (right now she's running stock gears with 23" magnum tires) but km has alway's been quick i did not run him on the flats i might have to kick him off to win there [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Yes it was a good weekend and I am very happy with my new mods. Like I said there wasn't much out there that could beat me. And when I did get beat AZ's 760 took care of them. My bike comes out of the hole like a raped ape. OMG it's hard to hang on and keep the front end down. I couldn't believe how fast the top of the hill was coming up on me. I had to get used to shutting down a lot sooner. AZ is still very quick, the only way I could get him is if I got him off the line or he missed a shift or had trouble in the whoops. Saturday at Patton hill I was putting atleast half the hill on a piped raptor. And he kept coming back for more. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

DSMike, I've noticed that Kenz dyno is quite a bit lower in #'s then others. I havn't had a chance to get my bike on there yet but I have a feeling it'll be close to my 49.66 stage1 at FSW.....

Glamisds650 and Billds650 it was great hangin and riding with you guys... Look forward to next time.

Glad to hear the mods went well.

Hope you plan on making it to Sand Mt. for DS Days. You are gonna love those hills.

You get twice as much distance before you have to shut it down. There are also a couple steep areas that will really allow you to show the power you have.

Man I don't know! I am only good for one good trip to the west coast a year, SO I want to take my time on deciding which event to go to. I wish I had the time/money to make it out 3 or 4 times but... You know how that goes.
