Default Another Raptor Paddle Question?

I personally like the Sand Sharks. I also have no motor mods and it still hooks up real well. Riding slowly on dirt or pavement for a short time won't really damage the tires. But if your talking about hammering down from one sandy area to another across dirt or road, it could tear the paddles up easily.

Default Another Raptor Paddle Question?

If you are looking for a tire with the best straight line ability and hook up go with the Skat Trak Haulers. I don't have too much experience with them, but I am guessing an 8 paddle would be suitable for the stock engine.

I have Kenda Geckos on my sand wheels. I think they are heavier than the Haulers, and don't have as much straight-on bite, but they are better for turning and they are much more durable. I have done full throttle launches on gravel parking lots and have yet to take a chunk out of them. They are also about half the price of the haulers. I'm sure others will have lots of great ideas for you too. Have fun!

haulers are a good tire, but a little expensive. I have found that the sand devils are a better sand tire. The haulers wear out fast. I have had both and will stick with the sand devils. Its a cheeper tire, but they hold up way better.

Yeah i think the v paddle is a better choice for my kind of riding, so the sand sharks seem a good choice right? or maybie a different v paddle tyre? Also has anyone else know any thing about the sand sharks(pros & cons) besides from psycho.

Sand shark are the most economical and in my opinion best for a stock 4stroke I would go with 20-11-8 or 20-11-10 with an 8 paddle.

I like the sand skate IIs myself. They worked awesome with my piped/jetted Raptor. Great traction everywhere. They have tall v paddles, and are 8 paddle tires. They look great also. I'll be testing them out in a couple of weeks with my new setup. I think they will still work great. I need a little spin to get out of the hole better.
