hey, i just got my main jet out and its a 165 just like its sposed to be stock right? its round with a slit in the top for a screw driver, the jet was down in this little coler that tightens into a little tube with little holes in it, that is above the needle. allright so i was gonna put a 180 in it so i got the 180, and the 165 that came out has a bigger hole than the 180, also the new 180 has no little slit on the top for a screw driver. and its not round like the one that came out. so does mukini have diffrent style jets for diffrent modles of carbs or what??? im way confused what do i do??? thanks in advance

 

Yeah. You need a Jet Kit designed specifically for the DS650/ Mikuni 42 I believe. Im no carb expert but they make different jet kits for different quads.

 

i got the jet from a polaris dealer that is close to me (couple miles) and my closest bomb. dealer is more than a couple miles away but still not too far. so should i call the bomb dealer?

 

do you guys think 165 to a 180 is too much of a jump? i have a alba exhaust system, and a direct mount uni

 

How many discs on the Alba and what is your elevation?

 

ive got 11 discs and the elevation is less than 1000 feet

how do i jet if i dont want to put on more discs, cause i dont got cash right now

 

As cold as it is where you are you can still try the 180. Call Alba they can sell you a 6-disc pack for around $15.00

 

so 180 would give me the most power gain? is is possible to trim the abla down, it looks kinda long, it would look evan longer if i added more discs
