Default Larger Scrammy tires question

Anybody know off hand how large you can go on a Scrammy 500HO. I'm thinking of new tires and am just curious about going larger for ground clearance.

Would'nt go over ,say 26".The srammy doesn't have a low range (gear) .If you get a real aggressive tire I don't think the bike will turn them, not that the bike does'nt have the power, but because of the gear ratio. You will more than likely burn the belt.

Keep in mind that if you do get larger tires, you need to keep that same ratio from front to rear or the 4x4 wont work properly. The fronts should be 1 inch larger than the rears

Are you sure you have a 2000 expedition w/independent rear susp?I had a 99-2000 425 5-speed with a solid axle.

When I originally bought the bike it was a 2000 model. Alot of parts have been changed since then, but the title still says 2000. I might as well call it a 2003 model. I finished building it in september of 2002.

Hey man chill out...this is a forum not a meeting of congress.

Dont change tires on your scrambler....keep the stock size...."High geared = highly slower then a biatch = no el pullo in el muddo"
