I don't know if all four buys are the same?but if you own something that is the same as a 99 scramble and you ever had to replace a u-joint you will know that from the dealer that joint is about $60 now I did little work and found that same joint for $8 bucks at NAPA part #338 or SPICER#5-170x this is a common joint for big trucks PTO shaft. so any place that carries parts for big trucks should have this for around $10.while I was there I did some poking around for C/V boots I found a NAPA boot that fit pretty good but not perfect#2499SB I just put it on to try it out for $14 why not.this may be a cheaper and closer alternative than running to your Polaris dealer every time you need one of these items.IM also trying some things with some rod ends.will keep you posted on how these items hold up.good luck hope this helps you save a few dollars. After you read this say hello and thanks tell me what you got and if you found any good deals like this. we all can benifit from it.

My boot replacement came from a Honda car for my 87 Big Bear. Not a perfect fit, but some electrical tape made it a tight fit. Worked excellent for years. I'm going to try it on my new Kodiak. $12.50 compared to twenty something.

Well Zman I must a confess I did roll the thing down one h*** of a big hill. broke off the A-arm,bent the stut, flattened the wheel and tire bent the steering stem, crushed the front bumper, missed the radator "big bucks"well anyway that half shaft took one h*** of a beating on the way down. This is most likely why this U-joint whent bad.all the rest of them are fine.
