does all predators pop?

it seems like when you read a review of the predator in the magazing they never do talk about it popping maybe its where polaris makes sure the mag reviews dont do it i dont know.has polaris said anything about it?

I agree..seems like it might be the limiter..but hard to say..one guy on here says it pops around 8500, seems pretty close to the rev limiter!

Just put the pipe on mine 2 weeks ago...didnt pop before and doesnt pop after. Sounds fishy though there are so many people talking about it though. Maybe Polaris regs arent use to shifting gears and hitting limiter.( Just kidding don't get riled up) I have heard many believe it is the CDI and companies are working on a replacement.

I ran mine hard all day long yesterday, never a problem. Even purposely tried shifting late.

at the race last sunday a buddy of mine had a problem with the electrical system (mid-race unfourtunatley). kept poppin and missin ill be sure and let everyone know what was causing it as soon as we find out

Scotts88, mine is still stock too and does the same, its like the limiter in a car, just hits it and doesn't pull any more, no popping though...Somebody on here said hitting the rev limiter should sound and feel like someone was turning the key off and on, but I have decided that can't be true.....
