Default 375 Auto Dirt Devil tire size question

I have a 2002 375 auto that I want to change the Dunlop tires out on. I pretty much have decided on the Dirt Devil. I read on another thread that a couple of guys went to the 27x10x12 all the way around with no clearance problems. My question is why the wider width (than stock) tire on the front? Is there any advantage? The only thing wrong with that setup that I can think of is it will fling more mud as it will extend past the fender. Any thoughts or ideas??

Tire size and tread pattern choice all depends on what you want to do with the wheeler.

What kind of terrain do you ride?

Mud, hills, trails?

Default 375 Auto Dirt Devil tire size question

I ride alittle bit of everything. It mostly depends on the time of year and the weather conditions.
This weekend we were on very muddy, snowy hilly terrain punctuated by logging roads. So I guess I would want an all around tire. I am pretty sold on the tread of the dirt devil as a couple of guys have them and they do great! I was just wondering why they are narrower on the front from the factory and should that be changed by going the same all the way around?
