How many paddles do you use in the sand? I was thinking about 9 paddles on haulers.

No more then an eight paddle. A Glider/Hauler combo is a great choice..

It all depends on hp. the more hp the more tire you can run but just for playing 8 paddles are great that's what I'm runnning right now. My next set will most likely be 10 padedles.
