raptor with pipe, jet kit and k&n or banshee same mods, flat straight run...which is faster and how do they compare?

 

The Banshee would be faster, A 2 stroke will gain more HP from a set of pipes than a 4 stroke with the same mods.

 

true, there are however, too many variables that will effect the exact top speed of both. Rider weight, ect...

 

very true that the exact mods along with rider and other variables makes it hard to tell for sure. a stock banshee goes about 74 stock, and ive heard that the stock rappy goes about 73. but that is really close, and is subject to variables as well.

 

I agree there are to many variables but I think the banshee will take the raptor. It also depends how long of a straight away. On my stock banshee I raced a stock raptor and I blew him away for the first 75 yards. Then he just wooped me after that.. We were also racing on ice so I was getting a ton of wheel spin through the first couple of gears.

most likely the raptor will wheelie up while the banshee will blow it away off the line, 75-100 yds later the raptor will close and maybe even pass if the riders are of the same skill and weight. But of course as always the raptor will look better than its ancient cousin!

 

I belive that the Craptor looks better but shee will blow it away even in the long run... Thought i would throw in my 2 cents.. I spent about 3 yrs on a 92 Honda 250x, finally got me a 96 shee we TONS of extra and i was checking the forums and thought i would write back a reply.
