the real question is your experience. its hard for others to estimate how good you are or arent on a quad. your parents are probably judges of that fact than an outsider would be. what kind of quads have you had in the past, and how long have you been riding, and what kind of riding have you been doing???

i have been riding quads and motorbikes since i was 11 and i currently have a RAM100cc, ive ridden my friends motorcross bike so i can do the gears alright. i mainly ride at this place where you can as fast as you like and hasnt got steep hills on or anything. my brother smashed hes front teeth out on a motorbike and thats what they are affraid i will do, but what they dont realise that i am a sensible rider and dont need to go to the extremes to have fun

if you dont need to go to extremes then you don't need a banshee

Like the others said, it depends on experience. No beginner should ride a Banshee at any age. But, if you are not new to ATVs and have riding experience, no problem.

i know that its probably not what you want to hear, but i dont think the banshee should be your next step. i would say a 400ex or a blaster would be a good quad for you. quads are a lot different than bikes are, and it takes some getting used to in order to ride them with skill. just my opinion, remember, any quad is better than no quad...

warriors are very nice quads. they are very reliable, and have pretty good performance too. the warrior is very upgradable, so it can speed up and grow along with your needs. my friend has one, and he is always in the trails with us, having a buttload of fun.

about 61mph stock for a warrior, compared to about 64 for a stock 400ex, and 71 for a stock banshee.
