Race cut rear fenders

What are you guys using to shave your rear fenders? I may want to do that but I want it too look like a good clean trim. Also, do you get pelted too badly by debris flying off of the back tires?

I have not problems at all with the cut fenders, maybe a little sand when taking off quickly but that's it.
I waited for a long time to cut my fenders in fear that I wouldn't like it, so I waited till I was half s@#$ faced and had Jiminok and AZSand help me. What an experience that was. Anyway, the only thing I regret was not doing it sooner, my wife wouldn't even ride hers till I cut hers. I used a pair of hedge trimmers on mine and then finished them up with a sander. Used a jig on the wifes.
Infact thanks to Jim I have a pic of me cutting my fenders Pic

Heck yeah. I also thought of drilling holes on each side and stitching them back together with zip ties so that they flap like wings through the whoops.

i used a dremel like cutting bit from the hardware store on an electric drill.took a roll of pin strip tape and marked it off, and just followed the line across and finished up with sand paper to clean the edge off. good luck!!!! i did order a new rear fender for trail riding, keeping the cut stuff for the dunes.
