I am so excited [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] I hate this dam cast. although It comes off today, my wrist is still sore, I think because I twisted it so bad. Still trying to get rid of this back pain as well.
I don't know why I posted this, but I have been counting the days until this cast come off!

I did try to ride around the yard with this cast on, since it is the right arm, and the cast goes around my elbow, it didn't work very well[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]


I have been extremely nice to the wife, but she still wants me to get rid of the quads.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

It will be a cold day in hell, before I get rid of them., maybe I will get rid of one of them, but not the ds.

 

I'm glad to hear that you're getting your cast off. As far as the wife, the conversation that I had with my wife was along the lines that it is more dangerous to get into your car and drive to the supermarket than it is to go trail riding. My wife was in a car accident a couple of years ago, so that is all of the ammunition that I needed. She once told me after a bone breaking accident that I need to get rid of the quad. I reminded her of her accident and told her as soon as she swaps the SUV for a bicycle, I will consider selling the DS. It worked for me, and hasn't come up since.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

ride soon. but let it heal good. i rode glamis with my cast on my wrist and now i have to wait a little longer. cast is off but now i can barely lift my wrist. so wait.

 

I was thinking of other hobbies, but there are too many risks involved.

Knitting------ carpel tunnel syndrome

Tennis------- Tennis elbow

Swimming - could drown

Hiking------ athletes foot, or bit by a squirrel

Bowling---- DWI on the way home

Horseshoes- same as above

Cooking--- get burnt by the stove

Hunting--- could get eaten by a bear

Bicycling--- Hit by a car

Fishing----- could fall out of boat

Jogging---- shin splints

Model building- brain damage from the glue

Shuffleboard- you could drop the puck thing on your foot.


There is nothing safe !!! Might as well stick to ATVing!

if the doctor doesnt take it off i gonna take it off. ive been to 3 different appointments and they didnt do anything about it. i think its fine now i can lift my bacck pack perfectly and ride my quad good and my left broken wrist doesnt hurt at all[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] so im excited to hehehehe i cant wait

Well, I got this dam cast off,,MAN does it hurt, it hurts more now than when I broke it! Moving my wrist certain ways ,OUCH! The doc said it would be 3 months before it is better...I put an Ace bandage on it tonight, that helped.. I'm telling you quadwarrior02, be ready for when they 1st take it off.
