Today i was riding around on my ds, over in the pasture beside my house where i have lil jumps and stuff on a hill, well i was going down the hill while it was raining and i turn to avoid a lil thorn tree and hit a small hole but big enough to jerk the bars n since it was wet n slippery the back end slid out and then it catched and rolled over, through me off and i landed on my head [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img], thank god i had my helmet on, well it only rolled over a few times, and i got off lucky, all it did was broke my clutch lever, pushed my bars back and bent the front right fender mount, so all i need now is the stock clutch lever and to bend my fender mount back which I should be able to do hopefully, well thats all i can tell from wat i seen 2day, i'll take a good look at it 2morrow

I tried to buy a lever once, they said I had to buy the whole assembly, let us know what you find out about the lever...Mine was bent a little, I just put it in a vise, now it is pretty close to where it is supposed to be.

you cannot buy just the lever and the whole thing is $73CA, which i think is really stupid, i got my stock one welded back together so it'll b ok for now, i now noticed my bars are a lil bent on the clutch side, but not enough to make me buy new bars for now, gotta save up some money first, anything you recommend for bars? i price new right fender mount and thats another $120CA so i'm just gunna try to bend mine back, for future reference guys watch out wen tryin to bend the stock lever back, its aluminum so it'll snap it bent 2 far,
my neck was pretty sore 2day, hurts wen i turn my head but otherwise i'm alrite, thank god i was wearin my helmet otherwise things would be much worse,
the strange thing is earlier i was doing lil tricks off this jump i got, i was doing like no footers, no handers, no handed landers, and i roll it going down the hill and the jump is at the top

 

Wow hope u are ok. Glad to see damage was minimal. As far as bars go look a my latest wreck. I had a set of Rentals that survived 20+ rollovers. It all happened at Banning/Beumont. The same place that the original Crusty Demons of dirt was filmed. As far as the levers go mine are still bent. I already snapped off the cluth lever when trying to give it a custom bend (works good though). If I cannot get it where I would like it again, then I think ASA or someone rather makes a really cool one for around 80 bucks. Its supposed to be indestructable. As far as mounts and such go just bend them back and if the paints messed up then recoat them. (did I say that??)

well i'm doin better now, neck barely hurts at all, got my lever welded and repainted, readjusted my bars, all i need to do now it bend my fender mount back, i wish it would dry up so i could just run without the fenders, looks better that way, and as for the truely custom thing, i knew i need somethin else besides the skis to make it like that [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
