i'm looking to get more out of my kfx, and someone suggested removing the snorkle. I was just wandering if doing so would screw w/ my jetting.

 

From what I have seen and read, the KFX and the Z engines are very touchy. They need to be jetted with any mod to exhaust or intake. I'm not sure if removing the snorkel will require a rejet or not, but if it is that restricting then you will probably have to rejet.

 

If you remove the snorkle, you will at least have to play with the needle position in the carb. Hope this helps.

My sujestion would be to install a slip on and rejet, this will make the performance difference.
