Stock for stock a 400 or 500 would easily smoke a blaster. However I knew a guy that had a 240 Big bore kit and other aftermarket goods and he could outrun a 400 ex by 1 1/2 to 2 lenths.

My 250 will easily beat a blaster so I would think a 400 would with no problem at all. They are not even in the same class. Your talking about a 2 stroke 400 against a 2 stroke 200. Not even close!

My 250 will top out at 67mph. A blaster is around 60-62. My neighbor kid has a blaster and used to smoke my stock 250 untill I got my mods done. We race all the time. My 250 can beat a stock 400 up to about 50mph then it catches up and I can hang right along side of it. Blasters are very quick for a little 200cc but the stock 400 will for sure beat a blaster. The top speed of the 400 is 68mph. The blaster is only like 13-16hp and the 400 is 38hp. Im not bashing the blaster. I have much respect for them but I have to give this one to the scrammy!
