Scrambler 500 vs. Magnum 500 for the Camp
#1
After I bought my 400 Scrambler, I have seen the light!!! I'm thinking of selling my 99 Honda 300 4X4 and getting either a Scrambler 500 4X4 or a Magnum 500 for use at the hunting camp.
Any thoughts, comments or opinions?

I have 2 Scramblers and a Magnum.
No comparison. Wouldn't catch me dead on the Magnum if there is a Scrambler in the Garage.
The Magnum is lovely...but heavier, slower and less fun. I have used low about 5 times on that thing altogether, once was for a 12 year old to plearn on.
Put a few Racks on the Scrambler.
Hey, my brother has been talking about buying one of those lightweight portable fake dears (do hunters use these?) He wants to put a rack on the Scrambler, and run around our lake with the "dear" hanging off, doing wheelies, jumps etc. Onlookers would see this utility looking bike, and BLAM, gone! It would have to look funny... errr, oh yea, I recommend the Scrambler.

if you are goin g hunting with it for the primary purpose and already have a 400 scrambler why buy another... get Mag for a different purpose.. for hunting you will be sorry if you don't have shaft drive and low range.. also the shocks on the Mag are much softer and provide a much better ride thatn the scrambler... Also, the Mag will go through more mud and over more rocks... its a proven fact.
Buy what you need, the scrambler isn't made for work, don't use it that way.
