nice choice...that truck hauls...only thing i dont like about em is that split second throttle lag when you first jump on it. its because there is no direct connection to the throttle plate....its fly-by-wire. but in a couple of years there will be software updates that will get rid of that and maybe use those 8 extra spark plugs to make more power....hehehe....

I hope you enjoy your new ride. I have been looking at getting one for myself. some of the die hard Dodge guys love their Deisels, but I think they stink, and I would "short trip"it to death. I think the Hemi is a good choice, and you should love the performance.

the new ram hemis actually have 16 spark plugs.....i work at a dodge dealer and we've been trying to understand why....well it seems that in the near future, dodge will be sending out software updates to fire the extra plugs a split second behind the first set(they fire at the same time now). this will reburn the excess gas not burned the first time, ad mayb make more power. this setup is mainle for emissions though. it just gonna suck when you gotta change 16 platinum plugs at 9 bucks a peice......think il stick to my 4 banger hahaha
there always thinkin....maybe they should figure out a way to make the thing get better than 12 mpg.......

I was wondering too what kinda gas mileage the Hemi gets without a trailer behind at normal city and hwy driving. I have a 2002 QC with a 4.7 and gets only 15 city and 18 hwy. Pullin my 24 foot Dutchman Travel trailer get s only 8 to 9 mpg here in the midwest.
My next truck will probably be a diesel type.
