Raptor put me in the trauma center

The Raptor is trashed. I haven't seen it yet but my buddies said the rear axel is severely bent, handlebars are crushed and sitting on the gas tank along with the steering stem, and the front end is nonexsistant. We we riding 5th half pinned when my buddy hit a real dusty area on a desert trail. Unfortunately, due to construction in this area there was some huge rocks placed in areas unknown from a week earlier. Well, put two and two together. Dusty, couldn't see and hit a huge rock at a very high speed. The outcome. Well, what hurt the most was seeing my bike trashed. Subluxed Lt shoulder, fractured lt scapula, pulmonary contusion(coughing up blood), Pneumothorax(punctured lung), multiple combo of bruses and road rash, and dented pride. Lesson learned 1. can never have to much protection. 2. Always ride with good friends, for they are priceless and they know you best. 3. Always be cautious, even though you think you know the area.
The most ironic thing about this all is that I work in the Medical field and I always see people like me. For now on I will always be more empathetic towards patients. Thanks

My dad took a similar spill in the woods last feb, his collarbone is still healing, punctured lung too. ICU for a month, coma 8 days. He took a log that was sticking out into the trail, it was covered in deep snow, couldnt see it.
Get better man, glad you are still alive. You will probably think twice about getting back on the rappy, my dad still doesnt like to ride his, prefers his rancher. Hope your nurses are cute!

Naw, there is no doubt I will be back on the Rappy. If it's even worth fixing the damn thing. I just hope the frame isn't bent. When I am up walking around I will check it out. Who here has done similar wreckage to their bike and how much money did it cost to fix? thanks

Sorry to hear about the crash, hope you get well soon!!!
I have several parts laying around (stock) may be able to make a deal on them...
Handle bars,
Headlights,
Thumb throtle housing,
black dash piece,
I have more just not sure what all you are going to need... I know it still leaves alot but if you can rake together as much as possible you may be able to fix it withought it costing an arm and two legs.
