Very reliable or bulletproof as most people say. I rode mine in the mud a lot and it worked great! Not as well as a 4x4 but you get it. They arnt the fastest machine but they deffinatly arnt gutless, they make up for the little less power with reliability. I got on my moms Warrior after riding my Raptor and still had TONS of fun, very good machine!

The Warrior is a great machine that is very reliable. A blast just to cruise around on I had my Warrior for 4 years and it never gave me a bit of trouble (except from my own stupidity but we won't go there). I just recently traded if off for a Raptor. I still miss it a little.

Hey,

i just bought a '97 Warrior myself. got a good deal on it ($1400), and it seems to be in good shape. but i'll know the real story after i get some riding time on it. top speed seems to be in 55-60mph range from what i've read.

later,
bigmac

I own a 01 Warrior and I have been very happy with it so far. The only problems I have had are that I have broken an a-arm and have had some trouble with the battery, but nothing very serious. These machines are very reliable and are a blast to ride. The fastest I have gone on my bone stock warrior is about 66 mph, which is a very good speed. So I definitly recommend a warrior. Good Luck. And as for the price You can probably get an 01 for about $2500 to $3000 or less depending on the condition.

Well, a bone stock Warrior won't go 65 mph but they will get you into the mid 50's.

Hesse, no need for the "ttt" every couple posts - you are getting plenty of replies.

Yes, I think a bone stock warrior can go in the 60's because I have went over 60 on mine.
