I think the closest track to you will be LACR. check out the Antelope Valley Quad Racers website(www.avqr.com) for race schedule. My best advise for racing would be to stay loose. Don't put a "death grip" on your bars or you will get arm pump early and affect your ability to hold on to the quad. On big jumps, keep your body centered on the quad, when you approach a jump, keep the throttle steady. Letting off the throttle before you leave the ground will cause the quad to nose-dive. Giving it more gas before you jump will cause the front of the quad to reach for the sky. Practice...practice...practice. Learn how to get into corners and out by positioning your body forward going in and back coming out of the corner for best traction and stability. I could go on and on about this, but it would take a long time to tell you everything. Practice and watch other racers to get the best ideas on body language. Hope this helps!!!
