I opened my Trail Tech box and there were black spacers in the little box with the mounting bolts and no instructions. I just installed my new Steering stem so that is one of the next things to install. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

They go between the bar-clamp and the top of the steering post. Seems a little cheap, but it's solid when it's installed.

Lawyer's disclaimer....DO NOT mount a tach on your helmet visor. This could obstruct your vision.....If I don't say it, you know someone will try it. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] Hmm, I could just run the wires down my backside, have this quick release plug over hear, It would be just like flying an F-16. How do those Hemi Dodge guys say....Sweeeeeet!

 

I hope to be able to get back out in the garage and finish up this week. I still have a bunch of things to do but might be busy till Thursday, then I have to wait till the munchkins go down dor their nap.

Oh by the way, my wife brought home my Powermadd handguards and picked out a cool set of matching grips to go with them. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Both are black and red. Now if only someone would make something to mount red lights in the main headlight pod, possibly on the front of the reflector without obscuring the regular light. Hmmm....
