Any good places to ride in Iowa? What would they be like and where are they? Anything near Iowa City? We have some beginners, so need to know what terrain is like? Also, any camping nearby? Thanks!!

 

i know of a reaaly good place in ft dodge no camping but lots of riding i dont know how close that is to u but i could give u some directions if u would like. just let me know

Bluff Creek Park in Bussy is the best place in Iowa to ride. It is 360 acres of old abandoned strip mine with tons of hill climbs, a variety of easy to difficult timber trails, 3 mx tracksincluding a kids/beginners only track, good parking, restrooms and some room for camping. Bussy is about 75 miles southwest of Iowa city near the towns of Oskaloosa, Knoxville, and Bussy. If you ever get the chance, it is well worth a weekend trip.

Ft Dodge is about 4 or so hours NW of IC, not terribly close. Sorry.
