Just curious what the 686"s are running 300 foot in dirt. Once i get mine broken in i am going to Brookhaeven Miss. and my friend said they have a 686 there that runs 4.86.
He says he did everything himself even the polishing and porting. Also what length swingarm does everyone use? 2" or 4". I think i will need one and just going to start looking for the right one.
Thanks Rudy

My 686 ran a 5.1 in sand with a stock swingarm, and a 115lb rider, I think you'd have to have something more than just a normal 686 to be running 4.86's. The stroker power valve 420 banshees with custom drag frames, and wheelie bars with tripple buffs are only running 4.5's, and 4.6's. You have my respect if you can run a 4.8, I'd shoot for a 5.2 for a decent time, and a 5.0 for a good time

686 running 4.8's is VERY fast. It must have a wheelie bar or something. I really want to get my banshee timed in the 300...
