Default Raptor race on pavement

Have a friend chomping at the bit to race me. His raptor is in the shop for clutch replacement. He wants some when he gets his ride back. We will probably run about 200-300 ft. I weigh about 200 he's probably more like 125. He has the advantage on the weight, except the hole shot. I have been practicing a little. Seems to pull the strongest when I can raise the wheels about six inches.

Tell us about the outcome! Keep practicing that holeshot and good luck with the race. After that you should race him on a mx track and show him who is who!

If both bikes are stock .....You won't have any worries BigCreek1.
(even with the weight difference.)

If the rappy has the normal mods.... it will be even up at 300-400 feet.

With practice .... you will be able to carry the front about 6 inche off the
ground for about 150 feet under full power. The hardest part is getting
out of the hole without getting so high that you have to back off to set
it down. If you have to back off .. you lose.
