Like he said Cinders near Flagstaff then on highway 260 heading into Cottonwood is Hay Fielf Draw from their over a hundred miles of trails you can jump on. Arizona has way more places to ride then any other state. You see a four number forest road jump on it and check it out All Forest roads the rangers have told me with four numbers or three numbers and a letter are legal to ride ATV's on. But in AZ you can make them street legal and go anywhere Have fun here great state to live in Chuck (Cottonwood,AZ.)

The Cinders by Flagstaff are awsome. Make sure your DS is in top running condition. Paddles, razor backs and correct jetting is highly recomended.

The cinders are way different that anything else like sand, mud or snow.

It's usually not how fast you can get to the top it's if you can get to the top!

It's like riding on millions of hard round cotton *****! Very very very steep and very very very long and very very deep!

IT'S AWSOME!!!

On Father's day it will be 105 to 115 in the desert and around 80 up on the Rim [or the mountains] The northern part of the state is on a Plateau that is over a mile high, low temps are often in the upper 30's when you get up in the morning. I'm not sure but I think the Cinders are at a base elevation of 7000 ft. Just across the Utah border near Kaibab is a cool riding area called Coral Pink. It is mango colored sand that is in the mountains @ an elevation around 7000ft. Not that big but really pretty and worth the trip. On the way down you should also stop at Little sahara dunes near Delta, Utah. It's in the mid 80's on average but gets up near 100 regularly. Don't get any fantasies about going to Glamis on the 15th of June unless you've got some SPF 1000.

Yeah, if my uncle can get time off I would like to go riding with him in AZ for a day or two. Hit LS on my way back up for a day or two and spend the rest of my time @ St. A's.. I loved that place and wished it was just a little closer!!!

We ride year round down here. Morning and evening rides are the best when the heat comes. The link Roost gave is your best bet for finding exact directions and riding information. Give a shout on this site when you get down here......we can all get a ride together.

Hey RoostKing.....Did you realize you have Rocky Point pictures posted under your Glamis link on your site?

Shane
