I am looking to buy a new ride and man I just can't decide.

I want this ATV for ripping up dirt, stunts and Mild to Extreme Jumping, but I would like to just trail ride a bit once in a while, or else it would have been the banshee hands down.!!!!

DS 600 is way to expensive almost &10,000 canadian ( boooooo! I have a hog to pay off first)

So I'm stuck between the warrior, the wolverine and the 400ex. Warrior= nice 350, agile, 6 speed plus reverse.

Wolverine= Better ground clearance, shaft driven 4x4 ( how sporty can it be though??)

Honda= good ground clearance, better shock travel and almost 400cc's, nasty lookin machine ( no reverse)

Can anyone help before I go out of my mind?????

Lets here what the audiance has to say

Okay listen... Go with Yamaha K... Narrow it down to Warrior, Banshee or Blaster..?

Warrior Has Power and SOme Speed..(4stroke) Banshee Some what Power HIGH SPEEDS..(2Stroke)
Blaster(DON'T put it down has more power then what you ppl think) Has Good Speed and Has GOOD power

Warrior 350cc 4-Stroke
Banshee 350cc 2-Stroke
Blaster 200cc 2-Stroke so. Pick one.. or two..

Or Even a WOLVERINE ... 4x4 it is sporty...! I am thinkin of getting one..

Sounds to me that the Warrior will better suit you. I've rode them both and Wolverine is a great ATV, but based on the riding style that you decsribed you may feel let down at times. If you can stand not having reverse maybe the Honda is for you. Honda makes a great machine. I just know that trail riding and no reverse can have its down falls.

I have a '99 Wolverine and a '00 Warrior. I am VERY pleased with both. My Wolverine is slightly moded but nothing serious. My Warrior is bone stock. I basically do trail riding and neither of these quads have yet disappointed me. I even tried racing my Wolverine in a Utility race on a Moto Cross track. And it did just fine. I have not yet ridden a 400ex and I hear they are pretty good. But form my experience if want something that will go anywhere go with a 4X4. I dont recall if you said you wanted a mud machine but if you do go with the Wolverine. If you just want something to tear up the dirt trails go witht he Warrior. I like the nice reverse option too. Sure beats hoping off the quad and pushing it back all the time! Like I said though I have not ridden with or on a 400ex so im lacking in that experience area. Id say from the way it sounds go with a Warrior unless you want some deep mud action then go with the Wolverine.

Get the Wolverine! They are a nice machine. You can get them converted to a manual clutch for only $75(read about it in the June Dirt wheels)

Warrior would also be a good choice if you don't need 4x4.

Also there is the polaris Scrambler 500(4x4 4 stroke) Great 4-wheeler! Just a little heavy.

The 400EX, just forget about it. There are better things out there, when the FX400 and the new Yamaha Comes out that thing will be done!

For your situation, go with the warrior, but, you could save a lot of money if you listen to me, my 86' suzuki quadsport 230 does leaps and bounds better than my friends brand new 2000 warrior in the woods, better traction, better in mud, and hills, it is fast to, and is a very good jumper, you could save about 3-4 grand if you find someone selling a used one, or a 87' quadzilla, very fast, very good at stunts. but not to good in woods

75 bucks. are you sure? I didnt read that issue. Is is an install yourself kit? I think it would be pretty hard to install. Let me know what you know about this kit. I do know that it takes over 5 lbs off the crank which = more power to the ground!
