Default Very frustrated. Please help.

Ok hey everyone. You guys have been great but I need just a little more help. I put my K&N filter on with outerwear and took the lid off. I use a dynojet stage 2 kit and I am jetted at 144/146. My elevation is less than 1000ft. I drilled 5 1/4 holes in the baffle down in the exhaust pipe. I took the screen off the arrestor. I grinded down the welds in the headers. I did a spark plug test and....well I am not going to use scientific terms here because I dont know what the parts to the plug are called. But I pulled it out and the arm that comes up and over the little circle thing was like whitish grey on one side and a little darker on the other. Now I tried putting the snorkel on with the trimmed flaps but it hesitates and the low end was gone with it on. With the lid off I can wheelie so good in 2nd but the spark plug. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong. Also, when I did the needles, what does 4 clips down from the top ? Which side is the top? I think this is where I screwed up.

put the lid on without the snorkle.
the directions say put the needle clip in the 4th groove from the top. You count from top down.

the top of the needle is the flat part where the slots are. the bottom of the needle is the pointy part that controls the fuel flow past the jets.

Alright thanks, I was just thinking about the needle and that was the only thing I could think of. So I will adjust that tom. But man does she fly. Its not jetted right but wheelies in 2nd man but the top end bogged out a little.

I just adjusted the needles to where they should be, 4th from the top. I put 142/144 in and I am at less than 1000ft elevation. Went 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th WOT and pulled clutch in and cut engine. Spark plug arm was grey. Any sugestions? Other than that she runs great. Wheelying in 3rd geer rocks. As for the little incident today, haha I feel so stupid. I was riding in this big field and my whole pipe flew off except for the headers. All of a sudden it got really loud and I turned back it saw it fly off. I thought it was pretty funny. Thing sounds like a Harley without the pipe on. I went back and took my shoelace out and tied the whole muffler to the grab bar so that it dangled and didn't hit anything because I couldn't carry it, it was so freaking hot. I found some bolts and washers and lock nuts and painted my pipe since it was off. I was planning on painting it anyway because it was rusted. Man what a day. Anyway just tell me what you think I should do about the jets. My spark plug is grey on the arm and around the top of the threads, the white piece that is under that little lead piece is still white and if you look like really really closely it its a little tan. But I am not seeing like any sort of tan color on this thing at all.

The way your set up I would also run the dyno jet 146/148 below 1000ft. you are a little lean right now. not much but with the change you will definatly will be in the safe zone. (as far as rich or lean goes) Happy trails................

I agree on running 146/148. I am similar but with a GYT-R exhaust tip and run 148/150.

I was running 148/150 with the lid off, K&N pro flow kit, and full exhaust system. It ran awesome!
