Default Looks like I may have found my Trike

Its an 86 Tri Z. is what I like about it is, this.. It has been fitted with a banshee motor! Oh hell yea. The guy wants to sell the trike as a roller and put his RZ 350 motor in a quad frame. So if I get it this weekend, Im going to see what needs to be done, and if its not much then Im going to drop in my 420 Stroker motor and rip! This bike will be a hill shooter/drag racer only! Ive wanted to do this for some time, but didnt want to buy a good three wheeler, only to hack it up. Ive just been waiting around for a frame or something, but all the work has been done.. $650 for the roller...

Ill keep ya updated...

Well I picked up the roller chassis for $500. got it home and put the peices together and im a impressed with the guy who did the conversions work. The frame peices all bolt together real nice, and everything lines up good. I took some pictures that I will get scanned and post... Until then, take a look here 420 Stroker in a trike. Looks like trouble!!!! It needs some wiring, but nothing major. brames work, suspension is good.

Not the best pics, but you can see the trike with the RZ350 still installed( I wish it was there when I bought it for $500 (LOL) Frame and everything is good quality chrome, the plastic is in bad shape though, so its getting hacked until I get something else.

I dont anticipate having to actually race that many people. My current quad setup allows me to beat 85% of the people at Oldsmobile, so once I get this motor in the ATC frame with drag pipes, I think most people are going to be intimidated and not want to race. Thats my hope anyways. The less I have to ride it, the less chance I get hurt on it LOL.. I am mainly buying it for sand drags on a groomed course. Some hillshooting....

If I wasnt meeting some people in Colorado to do some riding, Id have my motor yanket out of the banshee by now.. Ill keep ya updated...

Ive wanted to do this for quite some time. Something about having drag pipes sticking out of a 3 wheeler frame gets me all worked up.. THe same duneable motor I had at FSW II will be pushing this bikw down the 300 foot sand drags this summer.

420 stroker motor - 80 pounds( approx wieght reduction from going to a trike) = Scary good times!!!

Mr 350X,
Well, I just found a newly rebuilt RZ-350 motor for sale. $1000.00. That would be awesome in the Banshee, with power valves Ill get some of that low end back that I have the 420. Not sure about it yet. Ill just worry about it when we get to next years dune season. I was planning to tear down my banshee anyways, so it would not be ridden much this summer anyway.

talk to ya later!
