Bombardiers are so ugly IMO why?

The DS is beautiful, but the utilities are quite odd.
The traxter and quest appeal to function, not looks, and they work well. Old guys, workers, and hunters wearing all sorts of gear, with stuff piled up on the racks, really appreciate the step-through design because wearing waders with 3 dozen decoys piled on the rear rack makes it impossible to hike the leg over.
Too many people think about looks to much, and don't think about what actually works. TO dog the step-through is to refuse to use the head and recognize its function, and that's admission of idiocy. Waterfowl, farm animals, and wild game don't care what it looks like.

also, remeber bombardier's motto. "Follow no one"
Bombardier is about innovation. And any new ATV manufacturer has to be about innovation to get noticed. It's not a easy market to break into.

FUNCTION BEFORE FASHION. I like the looks of them though. If you've ever had five layers of clothing on and a buck loaded on the back rack you'd truly appreciate the "step-through" design and the reason it was created. It's also really nice when you've got a passenger seated on the back. You don't have to kick them in the teeth to get on and off.

Just finished a 50 mile mud run with 19 other bikes & my Outlander looks just like ALL the rest, M U D D Y. but it was one of the best 3 mudders there, even with junky tires!!!! Besides if everyone liked the same thing you'd all be after my wife!!!! I do like the looks of the Outlander & haven't yet had someone say they didn't like it.

I'm paraplegic and have to transfer on and of my Traxter XT from a wheelchair.
I did a ton of research before buying and the step- though was the ONLY way to go.
Therapists are now writing precriptions for Traxters for those paras that need to ride.
Ugly?, perhaps. Functional?, ABSOLUTLY!

I don't think most of them are too ugly except for one: my opinion is that the rally 200 is the ugliest quad out there or very close to it. the step through designs arnt' that terrible but still not the greatest. As for the outlander I think it looks awesome and I am definatly buying one. I think with the outlander either you love it or you hate it. This is just my opinion. Thanks
