Default Questions on my new O650

First of all, I love my new quad, its soooo awesome. The power is great, alot more than my 500i. I'm really impressed with it. But I do have a few questions.

1) Is there a drain for the CVT? I got some water into her while playing and I took it to shore and revved it in neutral for a bit and it
never slipped again. So I'm just wondering if I got tons of water in there if there is a drain or not.

2) The 2x4 and 4x4 engagment. Today I was riding in some mud in 2x4 just playing, throwing roost and I wanted to go back to 4x4,
well I couldn't. It looks like there is a sensor that can sense if the back tires are spinning faster than the front tires and it won't
engage into 4x4. At first I would stop the quad, push the 4x4 and wait for it to engage, well I think the quad needs to move before
it can engage but if the back tires spin faster than the front it won't engage into 4x4. So what would you do in a deep mud hole if
you went into in 2x4? I tried to get it to engage forward and reverse but not luck, I may have been going to fast, it did try to engage
but would not fully. I might try it again tomorrow but go even slower so the back tires are just at a crawl. Can anyone explain to me
in detail how the P650 engages into 4x4?

3) Where is the CVT vent at? I think its beside the air filter but I can't be sure.

I must say I was hesitant about getting a belt driven quad but I will not go back to gear again, all it took was one ride and I loved it. Laying down a 20 foot high roost is so much fun, wait till I get my outlaws on there, omg!!! Anyway, bed time. Thanks for the help. I'll get some pictures up when I can.

Brent,

1) There is no drain for the clutch but you should be able to take it in water almost up to the seat without injesting any into the vents. If your having problems lower than this check all the clamps and rubber boots to make sure everything is sealed tight.

2)I usually shift into 4wd just before a spot I think I might need it. The 4wd actuator senses speed and will not engage if your going too fast(under 30kph should be fine). Also, I think the rear wheels need to be turning in order for 4wd to engage. I have been stuck a couple of times in 2wd and shifted into 4wd while still stuck. I switch into 4wd and GENTLY apply the throttle until I feel the front wheels lock in and it usually takes a few seconds after for the light to come on. I stress gently because you don't want to be on the gas when the fronts lock in, not good for gear.

3) The exhaust vent for the cvt goes up the right side and across the front of the seat to the left side of the bike.

Hope this helps

Steve

Brent,

Not a drop of reserve, when you run out your done. However, I've run the bars to 0 and still made it home and there's a warning light that tells you when your fuel is low.
