Have you heard of a power tune up? what's the miles /hours would you expect to get out of rings etc, on 650?
Mine will not start it is about 30 pounds of compression and going thru 600 ml of oil for 300 km and it only has 760hrs and 15000km on it. I also had carb issues and overheating issues in breakin periods which I know didn't help, I don't know it caused it. Also it never ran it low on oil and rad was always cleaned and airfilter was kept clean and air box was always cleaned. BTW a power tune up consists of pulling the bike to peices to clean out carbon and replace valves plungers etc... and it is as of right now my understanding that this is part of regular maintance and not covered under extended warrenty and requires about 9 hours of shop time plus parts plus GST. Do you have any comments on how to get the thing going once I get it going it's fine and I don't notice any power lost, (atleast there's lots of power there).
